SURJ Members and representatives have advocated for the passage of several bills in the past. We have taken positions on topics ranging from repealing mandatory minimum drug sentencing laws to probation reform to the elimination of the death penalty for juvenile offenders.

Over the years, the SURJ staff has developed fact-based research briefs that were presented to policymakers in Delaware.

SURJ also reaches out to our over 3000 members to bring voices across Delaware together to tell state policymakers that reform is needed.
