Dana Sorenson returned to SURJ as the interim director in June 2008.  She previously worked with SURJ from 2004 to 2007 in various capacities.  Dana will receive her Masters of Arts degree from the University of Delaware's School of Urban Affairs and Public Policy in August 2008.  Her thesis focused on faith-based ex-offender reentry programs.  She received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology / Anthropology from Guilford College in 2002.  Dana is also a former AmeriCorps volunteer having worked in Durant, Oklahoma through the VISTA program and in Austin, Texas through the AmeriCorps state program.  Dana is a Delaware native.
